Beautiful property, but needs some work.

We stayed in Sunrise #18 which is a great rental property, but there were some issues with broken items and cleanliness. One of the beds had crumbs in the sheets and spiders which is very unwelcomed when climbing in for the first time after a long day of travel! The hot water knob was missing from the Master shower, there was an ant problem in the kitchen and none of the patio doors locked which was a bit unnerving since we were warned to lock up everything as theft in Tamarindo had been on the rise. Luckily the property was safe and security was very present. Beyond the cleanliness issues, the pool was great, the condo was beautifully furnished, there was a great entertainment center, onsite washer/dryer and most everything else needed. Would suggest that a few things be added to the kitchen...a cutting board, knife sharpener, baking pans and measuring cups. The rest of the kitchen was very functional and an appreciated part of our stay as we cooked most meals in. We were within a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and all aspects of the town and the umbrellas in the condo were very helpful for our several days of nonstop rain. Overall we spent a great 4 days in the condo and would recommend the property to others coming to the Tamarindo area.
